Our Story
Rewardactivationzone Sports Academy was founded in Winnipeg, Manitoba with a single purpose: to make basketball accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
What started as weekend sessions in a local community gym has grown into a full-scale training academy serving hundreds of students across Winnipeg and beyond. Our founder, Michael Carter, saw a gap — too many people wanted to play basketball but had no supportive environment to learn the basics.
Today, we are proud to be one of Winnipeg's most trusted basketball training programs, combining professional coaching with a welcoming, motivating atmosphere.
What Drives Us
Basketball is for everyone. We remove barriers and make training available to all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels.
We believe in structured, trackable progress. Every session is designed to build on the last and move you forward.
We nurture a love for the game alongside the discipline required to excel. Hard work meets heart on our courts.
Our Approach
Our coaches don't just teach moves — they build athletes. We focus on the complete development of each student: physical fitness, mental toughness, teamwork, and technical basketball skills.
Every student gets a plan tailored to their strengths and areas for improvement.
Low coach-to-student ratios ensure everyone gets the attention they need.
Structured curriculum from basics to advanced, with clear milestones along the way.
High-energy sessions that keep students engaged, challenged, and hungry for more.
Our coaching staff brings together decades of combined experience in competitive basketball, sports education, and youth development. We're here because we believe in what basketball can do for you.
